St Patrick’s cordoned off as hunger strike enters sixth day
Gardaí have cordoned off both ends of St Patrick's Close in Dublin, on the sixth day of a hunger strike by 41 Afghans in nearby St Patrick's Cathedral.
Gardaí said the move was to protect pupils from the adjoining primary school from the camps of journalists and protestors that have congregated outside the cathedral entrance.
