Youth Council: Cullen’s zero alcohol limit plan not enough

The National Youth Council of Ireland has hit out at the Minister for Transport for limiting a proposed zero alcohol limit to first-time drivers.

Martin Cullen announced the proposal yesterday, saying the system is already operating in Australia and aims to give new motorists good habits.

Mary Cullen of the Youth Council has said the changes do not go far enough, and that they should apply to all drivers.
