Police in the North have arrested two men following a serious assault in Bangor, Co Down, yesterday evening.

Police in the North have arrested two men following a serious assault in Bangor, Co Down, yesterday evening.

The attack happened at around 7.30pm in the Abbey Street area, close to the town's railway station.

The victim was taken to hospital with head injuries. His condition is not known.
