McDowell to review use of term “non-national”

The Minister for Justice Michael McDowell is to review the use of the term 'non-national' following a request from a Fianna Fáil TD.

Dublin West TD Pat Carey has said the phrase has racist connotations, and implies that an immigrant is living here illegally.
