Meath man dies in house fire

A 75-year-old man has died in a house fire in County Meath.

It happened at Carnaross at around 12.45pm this afternoon.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí have not yet released his name.

It's understood the house was extensively damaged in the blaze.
