Cheney flight refuels at Shannon

US Vice-President Dick Cheney has made a brief stopover at Shannon Airport while en route to eastern Europe.

Mr Cheney's aircraft stopped at the Co Clare facility to refuel overnight while taking the 65-year-old on a six-day visit to Lithuania, Croatia and Kazakhstan.
