Police plea over missing woman

Police in the North were today trying to locate a Polish woman based in Omagh who disappeared after visiting friends in London.

A photograph of Ella Bronisz, who has been missing since April 9, was released in a bid to trace her whereabouts.

Her last known location was Luton Airport.

On April 8, Mrs Bronisz flew from the North to Luton to visit friends in London.

The following day at around 11am she telephoned her husband from a telephone kiosk at Luton Airport to say she was on her way home to the North.

However, the 24-year-old did not return and has now missed her son’s sixth birthday, which is uncharacteristic.

The PSNI said today: “Anyone who recognises Ella from the photograph and saw her at the airport, or knows of her present whereabouts, is asked to contact the duty inspector at Omagh Police Station. The telephone number is (02882) 246 177.”
