INTO seeks salary increases to attract more teachers

The Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO) is demanding salary increases for primary school teachers to attract more graduates into the profession.

The organisation, which is holding its annual conference this week, says young teachers cannot afford to live on existing pay rates.
