Man dies in building-site accident

A man in his 30s has died in an accident at a building site in Co Wicklow today.

The man is believed to have been struck by a dumper truck while getting out of his car to begin work at Avondale Community College in Rathdrum this morning.

The Health and Safety Authority and the Garda have both launched investigations into the incident.
