SIPTU slams treatment of laid-off workers in Tralee

SIPTU has accused a cleaning company in Co Kerry, which is due to close next week, of treating its staff with contempt.

The union says Dimplex Cleaning Systems in Tralee has rejected a Labour Court recommendation that its 47 workers receive six weeks of redundancy per year of service.
