Concerns highlighted in data protection report

The Data Protection Commissioner has said only a minimal amount of personal information should be included in planning applications posted on local authority websites.

The issue is one of a number raised in the commissioner's annual report for 2005, which highlights a range of public concerns and complaints made during the year.
