Dublin Airport Authority has sought the intervention of the Labour Relations Commission, after staff rejected proposals which would have given the green light to Ryanair's new online check in service.

SIPTU said the security staff were not co-operating with the system as a number of issues were still unresolved with management over pay and working conditions.

The DAA issued a new set of proposals, but staff rejected them by a two to one majority.
