Gardaí investigating two overnight fires in Wexford
Gardaí in Wexford are investigating the cause of two overnight fires at a well-known pub and an old granary building currently being developed into apartments.
The Oak Tavern beside the River Slaney in Ferrycarrig was gutted during a blaze that broke out at around 2am.
Earlier, another fire believed to involve machinery broke out at Nunns Granary in the Folly.
Nobody was injured in either incident which gardaí do not believe were connected.
Forensic examinations are due to get underway at the scene later today.
