Woman injured in Clare crash dies in hospital

An elderly woman who was involved in a road accident in Co Clare yesterday has died in hospital.

The woman, who was in her eighties, was travelling as a passenger in a car driven by her husband when it collided with a truck on the main Ennis to Ennistymon Road.

She died at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital this morning.
