Sargent: Fianna Fáil and PDs a 'disgrace'

The Leader of the Green Party Trevor Sargent has said that Fianna Fáil and the Progressive Democrats are a disgrace to the men and women of 1916.

Trevor Sargent was referring to the Government's failure to tackle corruption in public life in the wake of revelations at the Moriarty tribunal.

He was speaking at the opening address of the Green Party's Annual Conference, which has just got underway in Kilkenny, to mark the political party’s 25th anniversary.
