Adams heads to Boston by train after security delay at US airport
Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams is on his way to Boston by train following last night's incident when he was stopped at Reagan National Airport in Washington DC.
Mr Adams and Sinn Féin official Richard McAuley were stopped at the airport when they were on their way to a function in Buffalo, New York.
They missed the function as a result.
Last night's incident happened because Mr Adams' name was on a terror watch list.
Today the pair opted for a six-hour train journey from the US capital to Boston instead of the hour-and-a-half long flight.
