Two dead after overnight road accidents in the North
Two people are dead following road accidents in the North overnight.
A nine-year-old boy was killed when his parents' car was involved in a collision with a lorry on the main Antrim to Ballymena road at 8.30pm last night.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man was killed when the car in which he was a passenger struck a wall in County Down.
The crash occurred on the Castlewellan road, in Newcastle, shortly before 11pm.
This brings to 27 the number of people killed on roads in the North so far this year.
