Woman arrested in Limerick following ecstasy find
Gardaí in Limerick have seized thousands of ecstasy tablets with a street value of more than €50,000.
The drugs were discovered after detectives arrested a woman in the vicinity of the Crescent Shopping Centre in Dooradoyle, at 8pm last night.
The woman, who is in her early twenties, was getting into a taxi at the time.
She was taken to Roxboro Garda station where she was questioned before being released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
