St Patrick’s Day revellers in London and Belfast will be exposed to 14 times more pollution in Irish themed bars than they would if they were drinking in pubs in the Republic, a survey claimed today.

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health said a study of bars in Europe, north America, Asia and Australia showed indoor pollution in Dublin, Cork and Galway bars was 91% lower than in Irish themed bars in European cities which had yet to implement smoking bans.
