Suspect in Donna Cleary murder detained for further 24 hours

The sixth suspect in the Donna Cleary murder will now be held by Gardaí for a further twenty-four hours.

Tonight, the court agreed t o extend the detention period of the 21-year-old man, who handed himself over to the Gardai on Thursday.

22-year-old Miss Cleary was shot dead at a birthday party in Coolock last weekend.

One of the main suspects in the case Dwayne Foster died in garda custody earlier this week.
