Single gunman sought in Dublin shooting

A lone gunman in his early 20s is being sought in connection with this morning's shooting in the north Dublin suburb of Finglas.

A local man, also in his 20s, who was injured in the attack is “out of danger” in the Mater hospital in Dublin.

He was being shot in the torso and hand on waste ground near Berryfield Road in Finglas.

Detectives are ruling out any link between the incident and the shootings in Cabra and Coolock.
