Man injured in gun attack

A man in his 20s has been shot in the Finglas area of north Dublin.

The incident happened in Berryfield, Finglas South early this morning.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital, where his condition has been described as "serious".

A Garda forensic team has begun an examination of the scene.
