A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Garda patrol car in Limerick City overnight.

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Garda patrol car in Limerick City overnight.

Two uniformed gardaí escaped uninjured from the vehicle following the shooting on St. Munchin's Street this morning at 4.30am.
