Cosgrave to be sentenced on undisclosed donation

A former leas-chathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann who failed to declare donations exceeding IR£500 will be sentenced at 2pm by Judge Katherine Delahunt at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Defence counsel told Judge Delahunt that Liam Cosgrave’s career had ended as a result of the offence and he had lost friends and been vilified as a result.
