Man dies in two-car crash in Navan

A man in his 30s is dead after a car crash in Co Meath overnight.

The man was the driver of a car which collided with another vehicle at Proudstown in Navan at around 1.45am.

The driver of the second car was injured and is being treated in hospital.

The name of the deceased man has not yet been released.

Gardaí in Navan are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
