Road-crash victim named

The victim of a fatal road traffic collision at Martinstown, near Newbridge, Co Kildare, yesterday has been named by gardaí.

John Robinson, 26, of St Ita’s Park, Kilmeade, Athy, was a passenger in one of the two cars involved in the road smash at 5pm.

Six other people, three adults and three children, in the vehicles needed hospital treatment following the collision.
