Man dies after road accident in Roscommon

A man has died following a road accident in Co Roscommon earlier this week.

It happened when two vans and a car collided at Clooneyourish, on the Athleague-to-Roscommon road shortly after 4pm on Tuesday.

The 87-year-old sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken to University College Hospital in Galway, where he died this morning.
