Teachers seek revised guidelines on expulsion of pupils

The Association of Secondary Teachers has called on the Government to introduced revised guidelines on the expulsion of pupils.

The association claimed today that some schools had been forced to readmit pupils expelled for serious offences because of technical issues involved in the appeal process.
