Youth arrested in connection with rape of teenager in Lisburn

Police in the North have arrested a teenage boy in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Co Antrim over the weekend.

The girl was attacked in an alleyway near Moss Road in Lisburn at around 9pm on Saturday night.

The PSNI said the victim was out socialising with a large group of young people and was attacked after becoming separated from her friends.

They are appealing for other young people who were in the area at the time to come forward with any information they may have.
