Man and woman arrested in connection with Dublin shooting death

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Dublin last night.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the back in the Whitestown Park area of Blanchardstown at around 9:30 pm on Saturday.

He was fatally wounded and later died at Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out later today.
