Man held in relation to blues musician's murder

A man was arrested today in connection with the murder of a Derry blues musician.

A man was arrested today in connection with the murder of a Derry blues musician.

Jim Gilchrist, 62, was found dead in the River Foyle last September after a night out at a motorcycle club in the city.

Three men, two aged 18 and one aged 27, have already appeared in court charged with his murder.

The PSNI confirmed a fourth man had been arrested and was helping officers with their inquiries.
