Post mortem underway on man found dead at Killarney hotel

A post mortem is underway on the body of a man found at the back of the Great Southern Hotel in Killarney.

Gardaí say they are treating the death as an unfortunate accident.

The victim, who was in his 40s and from Waterford, was discovered by a member of staff near a fire escape in the hotel garden yesterday.

Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster is carrying the examination at Kerry General Hospital.
