16-year-old charged with murder of young Celbridge woman

A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with murdering a young woman found dead at her family home in Celbridge, Co Kildare, earlier this week.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of murdering Rebecca Kinsella (aged 19).

Ms Kinsella's mother discovered her daughter's body in the living room of their home in Grattan Court on Tuesday night.

The youth charged with murdering the 19-year-old was remanded in custody today to reappear in court again next Thursday.
