Four dead after Galway, Louth, Wicklow crashes
Four people are dead this morning after three overnight road accidents in Co Galway, Co Louth and Co Wicklow.
A 29-year-old man was killed at around 3am when his car smashed through railings on the Bridge of Peace in Drogheda, Co Louth, and into the River Boyne below.
A 19-year-old also died in Co Wicklow when the car he was travelling in hit a ditch at Ballinapark in Ashford just after midnight.
In Galway, meanwhile, a young couple died after their car smashed into a wall on the Kileen road, outside the village of Carraroe in Connemara, Co Galway, at around 11.30pm last night.
