180 jobs to be lost in Cork hearing aid plant closure

A hearing instrument factory in Cork is to close with the loss of 180 jobs, it was revealed this afternoon.

Hearing aid manufacturer GN Resound is shutting the plant in Douglas in April.

All manufacturing operations will be moved back to the company's headquarters in Denmark
