An 81-year-old man has died after being struck by a car on the main Dublin-to-Cork road in Co Tipperary last night.

An 81-year-old man has died after being struck by a car on the main Dublin-to-Cork road in Co Tipperary last night.

The accident happened on the N8 near The Horse and Jockey at around 7.30pm.
