Rescued rowers due back home

Two Irish rowers, whose boat capsized during an Atlantic rowing race, are returning home today.

Ciaran Lewis and Gearóid Towey were nearing the end of the 40-day competition, when they made distress calls while off the coast of Barbados last weekend.

The US coastguard launched a rescue operation, and the men were found a few hours later by a Spanish trawler.

They're due to fly into Dublin airport later today.
