Stringfellow granted dance licence for Dublin strip club
Lapdance impresario Peter Stringfellow has been granted a licence for his planned club on Dublin’s Parnell Street.
He appeared before Dublin District Court this afternoon to defend the proposed venue against objections from around 300 local residents.
The 65 year old insisted there would be no contact allowed between the performers and customers, and that the Dublin club would meet the same standards as his two existing enterprises in London and Paris.
Judge Ann Watkin imposed strict conditions on the owners relating to noise level, opening hours and advertising.
The club is expected to be launched next month.
