Cavan teenager charged with fatal assault on his father

A 19-year-old man has appeared in court in Cavan in connection with the death of his father at their home near Baileboro over the weekend.

The teenager is accused of assault causing serious harm to his 54-year-old father, who was found dead at the family home in the early hours of yesterday morning.
