Gardaí investigate discovery of body in Cavan

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found in a house in Cavan this morning.

The victim, who was in his late 50s, was found at a house at Lisgar, Baileboro at around 2am.

The area has been sealed off for technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
