North: Police probe house fire

Detectives are today investigating a suspected arson attack at a house in Co Down.

The suspicious blaze at a vacant property in Bingham Street, Bangor was reported shortly before 4am.

Emergency services checked a number of nearby properties to ensure no one was in danger after the alarm was raised.

The PSNI have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to come forward.
