Black Santa's sit-out raises €30,000

A Dublin cleric, better known as the city’s Black Santa, has raised €30,000 for charity in the annual Christmas sit-out on Dawson Street.

Rev Canon Tom Haskins, Vicar of St Ann’s Church, collected the cash in the week before Christmas to help victims of the Pakistan earthquake and to support the work of St Vincent de Paul.
