Best relatives decide on memorial statue

Relatives of the late George Best are deciding on details after plans to build a statue in his memory were approved.

The figure will be erected in the grounds of Belfast City Hall.

Councillors will now consult the family of the former Manchester United star, who died last month.

Former mayor of the city Jim Rodgers is backing the tribute.
