Two arrested after stabbing incident in Ballymena

Police in the North have arrested two men following a serious assault in Ballymena.

A 36-year-old man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the back on a garage forecourt on the North Road in the town, shortly before 2am.

The victim’s condition is described as stable and the PSNI have appealed for witnesses.
