Publicans 'continuing to put workers' health at risk

ASH Ireland has accused publicans of continuing to put the health of their staff at risk by introducing smoking rooms that just about comply with the workplace smoking ban.

The anti-smoking group said a small number of pubs were openly flouting the law by introducing illegal smoking rooms, but many others were getting around the legislation by setting up smoking areas that barely comply with the rules.
