Hunt for missing pensioner continues

Searches resumed today for a frail pensioner who went missing from a nursing home in Bray over two days ago.

Searches resumed today for a frail pensioner who went missing from a nursing home in Bray over two days ago.

Maura Reynolds, 78, was reported missing from the Tara Nursing Home at 6.30am on St Stephen’s Day.

Gardaí and Mrs Reynolds’ family appealed to people to check their property for the woman, who suffers from Alzheimers.

The mother of three is also a grandmother of nine and has one great-grandchild. She is believed to have disappeared between the hours of 12.30am and 6.30am on Monday.

She had spent Christmas Day with family members in Co Dublin.
