Govt insists no support for US transport of prisoners

The Minister for Foreign Affairs has insisted the government is not supporting the US in the transport of prisoners of war.

Bertie Ahern came under attack, amidst accusations that the Fianna Fáil-PD coalition's allowing US military aircraft to use Shannon Airport and Irish airspace, to move prisoners from Iraq and Afghanistan.
