Harney refuses to comment on resignation of HSE official

Health Minister Mary Harney has refused to comment on the resignation of Pat McLoughlin as deputy head of the Health Service Executive.

Mr McLoughlin tendered his resignation yesterday due to a contractual dispute with the Department of Finance relating to pension entitlements.
