INOU concerned about joblessness among young men

The Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed has expressed concerned at the growing level of joblessness among young men.

Figures published by the Central Statistics Office today showed that the number of people under the age of 25 signing on the Live Register had increased by more than 450 in the past year.

The growing joblessness in this age group was most pronounced among men, with almost 900 more signing on over the past year.
