Five youths arrested over Galway post office raids

Five youths were arrested this afternoon after a major Garda manhunt in the west.

The search was launched following break-ins at two post offices in Co Galway overnight.

The raiders fled the scene by car but later crashed, forcing them to escape across the fields.

The five were spotted in another car around lunchtime and were arrested after gardaí gave chase. T

They are currently being questioned at Roscommon Garda Station.
